This is the perfect dip for you, on Easter! Cadbury mini eggs are by far the best chocolate out there, but made into a dip for fruit and graham crackers takes it up a notch. This is a great treat to put out with your appies or dessert on Easter weekend.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Anyone else have a sweet tooth like me? You can’t go wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie and a big glass of milk … the smell alone brings a smile to everyone in the home. These are extra soft, chewy, and use two different sizes of chocolate chips.  I’ll be keeping my recipe intros short and sweet (hehe), because I know I’m not alone, when it comes to not liking to scroll down a long wordy post before I get to the recipe, so here you go! Enjoy.

 Servings: about 30 cookies
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons artificial vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (I did 1 cup big chips and ½ cup mini chips)

How to:

  1. Heat oven to 350 F and prepare two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the first 3 ingredients, set aside.
  3. Using a mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Then add in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add in the flour mixture until combined, it will form a chunky sticky dough.
  5. Add in the chocolate chips until blended.
  6. Roll dough into 2 tbsp sized balls and slightly flatten between your palms, and place on prepared cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in oven until slightly golden brown, do not over cook, for about 12 minutes.
  8. Let cool, poor a big glass of milk, and enjoy!
